Zanzibar North-east Coast: the island's prime location, most of Zanzibar's top-end accommodation is set on the north-east beaches. The diving is excellent here, there's not much tidal variation and the archipelago's best reefs of Mnemba Island lie about a kilometre or half a mile offshore.
Forest It is part of the Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park and is one of the last remaining rainforests in East Africa in its natural form.
A trip among the various species of flora and fauna found in the park is an integral part of a visit to Zanzibar.
Jozani Forest is a shelter among tropical trees - huge baobabs, ficuses and mangroves. Without a doubt, the biggest attraction of the park are the Red Colobus monkeys. You won't find these monkeys frolicking between tree branches anywhere else in the world (only Zanzibar)
The Rock is built on a small coral island and is probably the only restaurant of its kind in the world. At low tide you can reach it on foot, but when the tide comes in you have to use a boat.
Opened in 2012, The Rock has already gained an international reputation and is the destination of most people coming to the island.

The town in the south-eastern part of Zanzibar is famous for the most beautiful colors of the ocean on the island.
